What was interesting was how some of the photographs were reproduced onto large sheets of matte paper, which gave them a real muted, personal feel, like you were capturing someone or something in an unguarded moment - that time of rumination and contemplation, of vulnerability or strength.

Unguarded moment
I've just come from the Association of Photographers Gallery where I had the pleasure of viewing an exhibition, titled 'Dusk till Dawn', a collection of work by Jason Hetherington and Noel McLaughlin. Their photographs looked to capture the peripheral moments, those nondescript moments between the set tasks of the day, ultimately drawing our attention to naturally prescribed boundaries of time, dusk and dawn, and how it passes through different stages.
